FAQ
Frequently asked questions
All frequently asked questions have been compiled in this FAQ to help you find the information you need quickly and easily.
Unfortunately, in recent years it has become apparent that too many Classic Days visitors consider it acceptable to park in movement zones, in the middle of the road or at an angle that obstructs traffic, as well as on access roads and on logistics parking areas reserved for the event. We would like to point out at this stage that towing costs, including all associated fees, will be incurred if vehicles have to be moved or towed away by us.
Vehicles manufactured up to 1995 (i.e., 30 years old) are permitted access to Classic Days. We endeavour to ensure entry as quickly as possible. Tickets for the event must be purchased in advance and presented upon entry to the grounds. Bringing your classic vehicle to Classic Days does not entitle you to free admission. It means: parking as close as possible within a vast open-air classic car area alongside like-minded enthusiasts. We kindly ask for your attention and understanding.
We also try, with due consideration and wherever possible, to allow youngtimers and “Classics of Tomorrow” to enter the event grounds, provided that parking capacity allows. Entry cannot, however, be guaranteed.
We kindly ask for your attention and understanding. As a general rule, we disclaim any liability on all parking areas.
For the field parking areas with newer vehicles and for the classic/youngtimer parking directly by the avenue, it is highly recommended to purchase parking tickets in advance via the online ticket shop. This will also allow for slightly quicker entry.
The best way to reach the Grand Meeting at Rittergut Birkhof is via the A46, Neuss-Holzheim exit (AS 15), the A57, Büttgen exit (AS 19), via the B230 from Mönchengladbach, or via the L361 from Grevenbroich-Kapellen.
Please follow the event signage at all times. Do not rely solely on your sat nav.
In 2026 – just as in previous years – Classic Days will operate with a safety concept required by the authorities, as mandated for all events.
This “SIKON” (short for SIcherheits KONzept, i.e., Safety Concept) provides a framework for planning and allocating emergency personnel, security staff, medical services, supply of refreshment stands (especially during periods of heat), and for determining the number of sanitary facilities, allowing maximum visitor numbers to be set in advance.
We need to set visitor numbers because the aforementioned quantities must also be provided and maintained on site. In 2026, we will again establish a maximum number of visitors per Classic Days day. By selling all tickets in advance (online), we can compare the expected daily figures with the maximum numbers in advance.
We will continue to provide timely updates before the event on where demand is highest. As is well known, Classic Days are very popular. We would issue a notice if one of the days is likely to sell out due to high demand. Our tiered pricing structure is an attractive reason to secure your tickets in advance.
At the on-site ticket offices, tickets (if still available) can be purchased using VISA, Mastercard, or AMEX. Cash payments are also accepted.
EC card terminals are also available on site.
Those who wish to purchase online tickets directly at the entrance ticket office can do so digitally via QR codes in the shop. Payment options there include PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay (depending on the browser).
Tickets purchased in advance through our online shop can be paid for using the following methods: PayPal, credit cards (VISA, AMEX, Mastercard). Apple Pay is available when using Safari (Mac / iPhone / iPad). Google Pay is offered when using Chrome with a signed-in Google account. Prepayment is also possible in the electronic ticket shop.
Tickets are sent as QR codes in ticket PDFs or in the appropriate format for your smartphone wallet.
These vehicles are generally not permitted on the grounds. Golf carts and Segways are also not allowed.
Classic Days offer reduced admission prices when a valid student or pupil ID is presented, or when the guest can provide proof of benefits from the job centre.
No separate paddock or drivers’ area tickets need to be purchased at the event. Access to the paddock may, in some cases, be restricted for fire safety reasons. Your safety is our top priority.
Distribution of flyers and advertising on the Classic Days grounds is not permitted, including attaching or sticking them to visitors’ vehicles. Promotional activities involving individuals actively handing out flyers or distributing them to visitors on the grounds are also prohibited. Violations of this rule will incur cleaning charges and a flat processing fee of no less than €5,000. We reserve the right to exercise our house rules and will issue removal orders where necessary.
Please help us keep the Classic Days grounds free from unwanted paper litter.
Please also help us prevent damage to vehicles caused by stickers, flyers placed under windscreen wipers, and similar items. We kindly ask you to report any such violations or disturbances to us, our staff, or the security team.
If something is lost or found during the event, the best place to report or reclaim it is at the central Classic Days Information Point.
Items are frequently lost during Classic Days and, thanks to honest people, often end up in the event office. If you notice that something is missing after your visit, please send an email with as precise a description of the item as possible to office@classic-days.de
Dogs may be brought to Classic Days, provided they are not sensitive to noise and can cope with large crowds. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while on the event grounds. Owners are required to remove dog waste and dispose of it in the bins provided. Our staff and security team will monitor compliance with these rules to ensure a calm and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Classic Days remain a charity festival. Tickets for Classic Days are offered at reasonable prices. The event is organised by DEUS 4 GmbH.
Ticket fraud is neither worthwhile nor gentlemanly. For this reason, the organiser reserves the right to carry out ticket checks even after entry to the event grounds. Tickets must therefore be carried at all times and presented on request. Day tickets will become invalid upon entry to the grounds through electronic validation.
Children up to 10 years of age may attend Classic Days free of charge. Children aged 11 to 16 inclusive pay €8. From 17 years onwards, the standard adult admission price applies.
For our visitors with disabilities, we offer reduced tickets. These are available to individuals with a recognised disability of at least 50% (GdB ≥ 50%).
Classic Days offers accessible routes throughout the entire grounds, which are the same as the main visitor walkways. Where the “Racing Legends” circuit is crossed by a bridge, there is a nearby temporary pedestrian crossing, supervised by our marshals.
Designated parking for visitors with disabilities is available and clearly marked just before the small village of Lüttenglehn, coming from Glehn, on the left-hand side. This is the village community’s shooting range, where they provide a section of the parking area for our visitors. From here, a wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus runs to the Classic Days entrance. Access to the parking area is only permitted with the appropriate pass (and ideally a corresponding sticker displayed on the windscreen of the vehicle).
The shuttle bus operates continuously and can accommodate 4 wheelchairs and 6 seated passengers per trip.
Arrival is even easier if the corresponding “Access & Parking Permit” is requested by email at office@classic-days.de by 24 July 2025, including your postal address for the permit to be sent.
The same rules apply as for cars. Classic motorcycles and scooters manufactured up to 1995 are permitted to enter Classic Days and will be assigned to designated parking areas. Modern vehicles must be parked in the spaces reserved for everyday vehicles.
Tickets for Classic Days are still available at the on-site ticket offices. These are located at the entrances to the widely secured event grounds of the classic car and motor festival. The ticket offices are open during the hours stated here.
| Ticket Office Opening Hours | |
|---|---|
| Friday: | 8:30 am – 6:00 pm |
| Saturday: | 7:00 am – 6:00 pm |
| Sunday: | 7:00 am – 5:00 pm |
Ticket office opening hours also correspond to the entry times for the event grounds. Entry is not permitted before the ticket offices open. Vehicles parked illegally will be towed.
For the Grand Meeting 2026, the main parking areas are located to the south, between the villages of Epsendorf and Lüttenglehn near the L361. Parking lot “S” is signposted. It serves all arrivals from the A46 (Kapellen or Neuss-Holzheim exits), A52 (Willich Schiefbahn exit), and A44 (Mönchengladbach Airport / Mönchengladbach Ost exit). The parking area is a field lot. It is sufficiently large and connected to the main entrance of Classic Days by a shuttle service.
Another parking area (with limited capacity) is located to the north of the event grounds, near Neuss-Kaarst-Büttgen. Parking lot “N” is signposted. From this field parking area, Classic Days can be reached on foot (approximately 300 m to the entrance control/ticket office and about 700 m to the Classic Days grounds).
Both field parking areas for everyday vehicles (Parking Lot S and Parking Lot N) require a parking permit for entry and use. Parking fee: €10.
Parking permits are available here in the shop…
A third parking area has been designated exclusively for visitors with disabilities (GdB at least 50%). Please contact office@classic-days.de to arrange access.
Classic cars are always welcome at Classic Days. With the new festival location at Rittergut Birkhof, the classic car parking areas have been moved even closer to the Grand Meeting.
Above the impressive chestnut avenue, which forms part of the Racing Legends circuit, a 20,000 m² grass field is available as a classic car parking area. Right in the heart of the action. Clubs are also located here, with displays, pavilions, and creative decorations. We hope that this classic car parking area will be sufficient – if not, we will have to make use of the field parking for everyday vehicles. As always at Classic Days, early arrival secures the best spaces. A site plan with a map will be published on the website before Classic Days.
Classic car parking requires some logistics and organisation, which is why we will charge a parking fee of €5 (within the framework of the safety and parking concept). Classic cars, youngtimers, and club vehicles require a parking permit for entry and use.
Picnic means: Picnics are welcome!
Picnics are always very welcome at Classic Days. We are especially delighted by period-style picnics. Simply bring your picnic and enjoy the day on hay bales, in a picnic chair, or on a blanket on the grass.
Numerous picnic areas are designated along the Racing Legends demonstration track.
Please note: Picnic parking permits do not grant admission to the event!
Tickets must be purchased separately.
For visitors and fans arriving at Classic Days with motorhomes, we offer the following recommendation: Please always use official motorhome parking areas. Information can be found, among other places, here: https://stellplatz.info/reisemobilstellplatz/neuss/stromanschluss
There are no motorhome parking spaces on the event grounds, in the car parking areas, or on the field parking areas. Entry and parking of motorhomes or similar vehicles in these areas is prohibited. For safety reasons, this prohibition will be strictly enforced. Violations will unfortunately incur a penalty of €1,000 per vehicle and case.
For the first time, we can point out a motorhome/camper parking area in close proximity to the Classic Days grounds. At Hof Nixberg, the Oerdinger family will offer a limited number of spaces. Please send enquiries to: oerdinger@hof-nixberg.de.
The site is located 1.1 km from the main entrance of Classic Days.
The nearest petrol station (with car wash) is located in Glehn, approximately 1.6 km from Classic Days. It is only 700 m away from the main field car park. It is the Total Energies petrol station, Dieselstraße 2, 41352 Korschenbroich/Glehn. The petrol station also has a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
Please be sure to purchase tickets in advance to minimise waiting times at the entrance and ticket office. Advance tickets are also cheaper than tickets purchased at the box office on the day. Tickets from our online ticket shop are available as PDF files to print at home or as e-tickets for your smartphone (wallet).
It is also advantageous to have your ticket ready when entering with a classic car or everyday vehicle, as tickets are also checked at the entrances. The fast lane works best with a ticket.
For the field parking areas with newer vehicles and for the classic/youngtimer parking directly by the avenue, it is highly recommended to purchase parking tickets in advance via the online ticket shop. This will also allow for slightly quicker entry.
There are sufficient sanitary facilities on the premises, which are clearly signposted.
There is a usage fee of €1.00 for the toilets.
There are a wide variety of catering options available across the extensive grounds of Classic Days. Stalls on the grounds offer crêpes, tarte flambée, apple pie, coffee and cappuccino, soft drinks, grilled food, chips, sausages, sandwiches, etc. at attractive prices.
For the first time at Classic Days, we can point you to a motorhome/camper van car park in the immediate vicinity of the Classic Days site.
The Oerdinger family will be marketing a limited number of spaces at Hof Nixberg. Depending on the weather forecast and long-term weather conditions, between 30 and 100 spaces will be available. However, the offer is limited – the provider will accept bookings as long as there are spaces available for rent.
Please send emails regarding this matter to: oerdinger@hof-nixberg.de
The square is located 1.1 km from the main entrance to Classic Days.
Vehicles are checked upon entering the premises (ticket inspection/admission tickets) – as well as upon exiting (prevention). We kindly ask drivers to have their admission tickets ready upon entering. We will give you a small numbered sticker, which you can carefully attach to the front or side window of your vehicle. Please keep the counterpart with you. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation. Smooth and efficient procedures ensure a quick arrival for the vehicles behind you. Please place entry tickets, such as picnic tickets and similar, in a clearly visible position behind the windscreen.
We expressly accept no liability.
