The international street theatre group ‘Timecruisers’, which has been closely associated with Classic Days for many years, brings huge fantasy vehicles and stilt-walking creations to the festival that seem to have sprung from the stories of Jules Verne.

Technology from the past, present and future comes together in the appearance of these colourful giants.

With sustainability in mind, the mobile works of art are partly made from recycled materials. If you look closely, you will see various parts that have been salvaged from the scrap yard and given a new lease of life. Large wheels, wings and jet engines symbolise the speed that, according to Einstein’s theories, would be necessary to successfully conquer time and move gracefully across the entire Classic Days site.

Timecruisers travel through the centuries of human civilisation at breakneck speed, placing our hectic existence in the spectator stands for moments of silence and contemplation. We are once again very much looking forward to Jan and his ensemble. Come and be enchanted.
