One of the most distinctive and atmospheric areas at Classic Days is the festival section “Stars & Stripes”, dedicated to US cars and filled with genuine American lifestyle flair. Yes – we can! The “American Way of Life” once again makes a stylish appearance at Classic Days. At Rittergut Birkhof, the US area enchants visitors with its diversity and quality – a very fitting “51st State of the USA” within the festival.
Take me home, Country Roads …
Classic Days bring a small piece of the country where distances are measured in miles, engines in cubic inches and fuel in gallons to Rittergut Birkhof. Here, the USA go by the name “Stars & Stripes” – and that means large-capacity V8 engines, sweeping tailfins, lavish chrome details and generously appointed interiors.
Rock ’n’ Roll and cruisers
What defines “Stars & Stripes”? A large number of American vehicles, cruisers, finned monsters and rock ’n’ roll time travellers. Enthusiasts who share a passion for American lifestyle and a relaxed, enjoyable get-together. The concept has been a great success – and rightly so! The many different tastes surrounding the American “drive style” are beautifully showcased here through vehicles and decorations alike – framed by tall hedges.
Gathering “under the Stars and Stripes”
America is diverse. America is colourful. We are looking forward to muscle cars, hot rods and street rods, as well as the so-called “Al Capone vehicles” from the years 1920 to 1940. We welcome all model years across the various categories from 1920 to 1978.
You are entering the American Sector!
Once again, the organising association Classic Days e.V. is looking for volunteer helpers for this area. We also warmly welcome participants with particularly fine American vehicles, as well as rock ’n’ roll or boogie-woogie dance groups who would like to become part of this vibrant programme.
51st State of the USA
In August 2026, Rittergut Birkhof will once again briefly become the 51st State of the USA. The “Stars & Stripes”section very much looks forward to your visit – and, if you wish, of course also to your participation with your US vehicle.
