Historic camping at the historic manor
The historic campsite at Classic Days has become a crowd favourite with a high emotional appeal in recent years. At Rittergut Birkhof, too, a colourful collection of rare exhibits from all years of manufacture is once again being created under the name ‘Nostalgic Journeys’ in a well-maintained camping layout with towing vehicles and caravans or old motorhomes.
Camping as it used to be
Nostalgic Journeys is based at the historic Birkhof manor, surrounded by tall hedges. They show what camping used to be like. Come and camp with us for a while and get to know long-lost caravan brands as well as established names that still hold large market shares today.
Like a journey into the‘travels of the good old days’
We are delighted to welcome beautiful vintage caravans built before 1975 – some with matching vintage tow cars – and early motorhomes for the atmospheric historic camping event ‘Nostalgic Journeys’ at the Classic Days Grand Meeting 2026 at Rittergut Birkhof.
In the middle of the event grounds, a campsite from yesteryear is being set up for a long weekend. It’s a wonderful place to relax and stroll around, admiring the caravan gems. The residents will surely be happy to give you a little peek inside.
